Waste Visions integrated hardware and software solutions are composed of two main services: Connect & Control (Smart Solutions): combining IoT devices (access control devices, fill-level sensors, smart lock systems, smart detection systems, route optimization software) and associated software. Waste Vision offers solutions which can be mounted on all types of waste containers, both below- and above ground. Services: including container services (maintenance, repair/refurbishment, cleaning, inspection, certification) and IoT services (e.g. installation) For the coming years Waste Vision will combine strengthening its leading market position in Benelux with further international expansion.

De functie

The Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for the overall group commercial strategy and the execution thereof and organizational development in its broadest sense: refining the growth strategy and execution including expansion to new geographies, adjacent markets and the commercial integration of acquisitions. The CCO will lead the group-wide pre and post sales, business development and marketing activities and teams (8FTE) and is part of the executive board. To enable Waste Visions growth ambitions and the international commercial expansion, professionalization of the commercial organization is required. The CCO will manage the coordination, execution and delivery of up/cross-sell and tenders and all other sales support activities. The CCO-role will be based in Hengelo (4 days per week) and will require a willingness to travel on a regular basis.

De ideale kandidaat

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, down-to-earth, hands-on and seasoned commercial executive with a background in a technology driven company. He or she has a minimum of fifteen years’ experience in international sales and marketing of which at least five years in executive/senior leadership roles, ideally including experience in international M&A execution and integration from a commercial perspective. The CCO has a proven successful track record in international commercial growth in a Private Equity owned business and its dynamics (KPI’s, growth drivers, pipelines). The new CCO is intelligent and a critical thinker, who works fact-based, and data driven. He or she connects stakeholders and is team player and a decision maker. The CCO sets goals and defines the commercial direction of Waste Vision, is curious and collaborates well with all stakeholders. Continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and realises them together with the team. The ideal CCO combines this with a high EQ and excellent communication skills. A natural leader who can take people along in change, convincing both in content and in person.

Kandidaatprofiel

  • Extensive experience as a senior executive in international sales and marketing.
  • A proven successful track record in international commercial growth in a Private Equity owned business and its dynamics (KPI’s, growth drivers, pipelines).
  • Experience with and knowledge of (international) tender business and sales to clients within the public sector.
  • Experience with change management and optimalization of organizations and processes.
  • Strong project/organizational management skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English and preferably also in German and/or French.
